On the pistes

With 50km2 and more than 1500 meters of altitude difference to the Valluga peak, 300km of marked ski runs St. Anton has something to offer to skiers of all abilities. The downhill run from the top of the Valluga into St. Anton is over 9km long. The Hopplweg, a gentle path through the forest, is a firm favourite of little ones. Along the carving slopes, permanent race tracks and fun parks are the mountain bars and restaurants.

A snowboarders’ paradise

With its diverse slopes and many freeride opportunities, St. Anton is a snowboarders’ paradise. 87 lifts, many of them chairlifts and gondolas allow easy access to the ski area. And in addition to the extensive pistes, there are fun freestyle parks to practise jumps and grabs.

The entire area around the park is easily accessible with two lifts, which means you can do laps in the park until you are exhausted! Toboganning– fun for everyone

At a very short distance from the top of the Nasserein gondola, at 1.850 metres, the funs starts. Tobogan down a 4km natural toboaggan run back to St. Anton. Going at full speed, the fast and winding route takes about 15 minutes. Halfway down, lies the cozy Rodelalm, a perfect halfway point to stop for a warming drink. Walkers can also borrow a toboggan here for the descent.

Cross-country skiing on high-altitude trails

St. Anton has a network of more than 40 km of cross-country trails, which have been awarded the state of Tirol’s seal of quality.
From perfectly groomed tracks to smooth wide skating lanes, there are trails for every ability in a stunning high altitude setting.

Winter and Snowshoe Hiking

Winter hikers can choose from a total of 17 marked trails on 80 kilometres of trails. Longer routes lead to the beautiful and peaceful Verwall valley or the circular Stanzertal path. Shorter routes go to the Almfrieden inn above Pettneu. The new ‘Panorama trail Galzig’ links the top stations of the Galzigbahn and St. Christophbahn.

The Arlberg Wellness Center’s indoor and heated outdoor pools with their waterfall, whirlpool and exhilarating counter-current system make you want to visit over and over again.
The pools and saunas offer magnificent views over the mountain peaks.

Sport and culture

Apart from regular ski championship events and the yearly White Thrill Race, St. Anton also hosts various concerts including the boys choir concert and the New Year’s concert.

On the Ice

Enjoy skating on the outdoor ice rink in the middle of St. Anton, surrounded by beautiful snow-covered mountain scenery or spend an evening curling with friends and family.
